Busy Bags

Missions & Service reminds you that we have “Busy Bags” in the narthex for our young church attendees!

Look in the bin under the church mailboxes for bags that include a Bible story book, a pad of paper, crayons, a  Bible story puzzle/ coloring book, and a small snack!

Please return neatly to the rack after the service. Thank you!

Stinnetts in Ethiopia

As many of you know, Pastor Stinnett’s brother, Rev. Eric Stinnett, teaches at Mekane Yesus Seminary in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The seminary is dedicated to training faithful Lutheran pastors and other church workers to serve in Ethiopia.

On August 17, 2021, Eric, his wife Johanna, and children Rachael, Naomi, Luke and Levi lost most of their belongings in a flood.  Their house was totally flooded, with water reaching within a foot of their ceiling. Thankfully, the Stinnetts are safe, but they now face the daunting task of replacing all their belongings.

If you would like to support the Stinnetts financially, please make checks payable to “Our Redeemer” and put “Stinnetts” in the memo line.  Donations can be placed in the regular offering plate. Designate “Stinnetts” in your on-line Vanco one-time special donation.

Thanks in advance for your prayers and support.

Youth Service Project

We had a great service event during Sunday school recently!

All students from grade 3 and up participated in making shepherds pie to be frozen for a meal for a shut in, or someone who was hospitalized.

Looks like fun in the kitchen!teen service a 2022
