Advent Devotions

Compliments of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, your household copy of “Peace Came to Earth” by Daniel Paavola is now available in the narthex.

With a fully quoted Bible verse, a devotion, and a prayer for each day from December 1st to January 6th, remind yourself of the true reason of the Christmas season. Take a step back and celebrate the peace and simplicity of Christmas celebrating Christ’s tender and loving promises.

If you need a copy mailed, then please call the church office. (232-7575, office@orelc.org)

Adult Bible Class

Adult Bible Class meets in Martin Hall (near the coffee and snacks), during the same time as Sunday School. Everyone is welcome.

Join us in Adult Bible Class as we discuss how to bring God’s Word more fully into our lives.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” (Colossians 3:16)

Weekly Prayer List

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, let your request be made known to God.” (Phil. 4:6).

Knowing God encourages us to pray for one another, we offer our members the opportunity to pray for individuals requesting prayers through our prayer lists located at the door of the narthex and on the ORELC website (https://orelc.org/orelc-news/services).

Can we pray for you? Requests can be made through the office via email (office@orelc.org) or telephone (232-7575). Confidential prayer requests can be emailed to Pastor Aaron Stinnett at pastorstinnett@yahoo.com.

If you have made a prayer request, then please update your intention as this ensures an accurate listing. Four weeks is the posting duration unless renewed. Thank you.
