Where to Worship When Out of Town

If you are out of town on a Sunday, you can find a nearby congregation of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod (LCMS) to worship with at locator.lcms.org.

You can also find videos of our services on the church's Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Advent and Christmas Schedule

During the season of Advent, we focus on God’s promises of a Savior and the preparation for His coming. On Christmas, we then celebrate the fulfillment of those promises and the “good tidings of great joy” that to us has been born a Savior, who is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:10-11).  We are pleased to offer the following opportunities for Advent and Christmas worship:

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. We are pleased to offer a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Tuesday, December 24, at 7:00 PM, featuring traditional Christmas readings and hymns. As a prelude, special seasonal music will be presented starting at 6:30 PM. 

Christmas Day Divine Service. We will celebrate the good news of our Savior’s birth in the Divine Service on Wednesday, December 25 at 10:00 AM.

Online Bible Study with District President Beinke

Thursday evenings 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Prayer List

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, let your request be made known to God.” (Phil. 4:6).

Knowing God encourages us to pray for one another, we offer our members the opportunity to pray for individuals requesting prayers through our prayer lists located at the door of the narthex and on the ORELC website (https://orelc.org/orelc-news/services).

Can we pray for you? Requests can be made through the office via email (office@orelc.org) or telephone (232-7575). Confidential prayer requests can be emailed to Pastor Aaron Stinnett at pastorstinnett@yahoo.com.

If you have made a prayer request, then please update your intention as this ensures an accurate listing. Four weeks is the posting duration unless renewed. Thank you.
