Nursery Room is Open

A nursery room is located beyond the sitting area of the narthex on the right side. This room also serves as a FAMILY CARE ROOM for the convenience of our members and guests.

Available for anyone who needs a few moments of privacy for nursing needs or calming young children. The Worship service is broadcast into the room for your convenience. There are a few chairs, a changing station, a child-safety gate at door, some toys but no soundproofing.

There are changing stations in both restrooms as well. See a greeter or an usher if additional assistance is needed.

Christmas Program

The Sunday School is pleased to present this year’s Christmas Program, “The Gift", taking place during Divine Service on Sunday, December 14th.

There are several roles to be filled by members of the congregation of all ages. Please consider your participation as a non-speaking Biblical character, or provide support to prepare costumes.

A dress rehearsal is planned on Saturday, December 13 at 3:00pm. Please express your willingness to serve in this special seasonal program to Keith Jager or via email "ChristianEd@orelc.org."

Sunday School & Confirmation 2025-26

Sunday School is for children from age 3 through High School beginning on Rally Sunday, September 7, 2025 following Divine Service.

The Concordia Publishing House (CPH) Enduring Faith curriculum, allows the student to explore the Biblical stories from the Old and New Testament, establishing a connection to Luther’s Small Catechism; preparing the student for Confirmation Instruction in the 6th grade. Following Confirmation, Christian Education continues through the Junior and Senior High School years.

Classes are taught by adult(s) with post-confirmation assistants, who are passionate about teaching our children the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

The Sunday School year runs from September 2025 - June 2026 meeting weekly unless otherwise noted on the Sunday School Calendar. Parents of Sunday School children are encouraged to attend Adult Bible Class (ABC) during the Sunday School hour.
