Pages No Longer In Use

Busy Bags

Missions & Service reminds you that we have “Busy Bags” in the narthex for our young church attendees!

Quiet fidgets, finger puppets and board books are all loaded into an easy carry canvas bag. For older children we have independent readers books, crayons, and sketch pads.

Look in the bin under the church mailboxes and please return neatly to the bin after service. Thank you. Jamie Droste, Missions & Service Chair

Nursery Care

If nursery care is needed during Service, please speak with one of our Greeters. They will alert our volunteers that nursery care is being requested. Thank you!

Stinnetts in Ethiopia

As many of you know, Pastor Aaron Stinnett’s brother, Rev. Eric Stinnett, teaches at Mekane Yesus Seminary in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The seminary is dedicated to training faithful Lutheran pastors and other church workers to serve in Ethiopia.

If you would like to support the Stinnetts financially, please make checks payable to “Our Redeemer” and put “Stinnetts” in the memo line.  Donations can be placed in the regular offering plate. Designate “Stinnetts” in your on-line Vanco one-time special donation.

Thanks in advance for your prayers and support. Find more information about Rev. Eric's mission, biography, and additional information:  https://www.lcms.org/stinnett

Christmas Baskets & Gifts

Please help support local families in need by signing up to provide food for a Christmas meal or gifts for the children. The gift tags will be on display beginning in Advent.

All food and gifts are due back at church no later than the Sunday morning of December 21. When returning wrapped gifts, please attach the gift tag.

See Jamie Droste with any questions or to make a monetary donation to offset purchasing costs for all food and gift items. Checks payable to ORELC, memo line: Christmas Baskets.

Thank you for your donations and generosity!

FOOD BASKETS

Every year, members of Our Redeemer adopt families for Thanksgiving. This year, the Youth Group and Missions & Service Team will be collecting food for 12 families in need by providing them with a filled food basket and a gift card for a turkey.

If you would like to help, please sign up to bring in a specific food item from the lists in the narthex. All donations should be brought in by Sunday, November 23, and placed in the designated bins in Martin Hall. Monetary gifts are being accepted (payable to ORELC, memo line: Thanksgiving Baskets).

Your help is needed and appreciated very much! Thank you!
